Sudanese Army and Allied Forces Recapture Strategic Towns in North Kordofan
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and allied joint forces launched a major offensive, recapturing the strategic city of Bara, along with Al-Baraka, Um Sayala, Um Qurfa, and Jabrat Al-Sheikh from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The ground engagements destroyed 73 RSF vehicles and resulted in the death of RSF-aligned Major General Abdel Aziz Ismail Abakar.
