IDF artillery and airstrikes hit Nabatieh outskirts
In response to Hezbollah rocket fire, the IDF conducted heavy artillery strikes and localized airstrikes on the outskirts of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon on July 16. The sudden escalation terrified local residents, leading to the rapid displacement of around 5,200 civilians who fled northward to Sidon and Beirut.
