Armed clashes in Kenscoff displace over 2,000
On the night of July 4 to 5, heavy armed clashes in the municipality of Kenscoff, located in Haiti's West Department, resulted in sudden mass displacement. The violence primarily affected the localities of Téléco, Le Refuge, and Viard. The IOM reported that approximately 2,048 individuals were newly displaced, with families scattering to find refuge in Pétion-Ville and safer zones in Kenscoff.
