Insecurity and skirmishes drive displacement into Ma'rib
Renewed insecurity and localized skirmishes along frontlines forced 264 individuals to flee their homes in early July. According to the IOM Rapid Displacement Tracking tool, the majority of the newly displaced people originated from Al Jawf and moved into Al Abdiyah and Ma'rib City districts seeking safety from the fighting. This secondary displacement exacerbates ongoing vulnerabilities in Yemen, where protracted conflict continues to trigger small-scale but continuous civilian flight into already overstretched host communities.
