Khartoum authorities exhume 27 war victims ahead of rainy season
The Khartoum state government reported on July 11 that a specialized committee has transferred the remains of 27 war victims from makeshift graves in markets and public squares to official cemeteries. The operation is part of an urgent public health drive to clear temporary burial sites before the autumn rains. Authorities have discovered hundreds of similar graves in areas previously controlled by the Rapid Support Forces across the capital.
