Attack on Myanmar Military Convoy Displaces 10,000 in Kani Township
Over 10,000 residents from approximately 10 villages along the Chindwin River in Kani Township were forced to displace after revolutionary forces attacked a convoy of 46 Myanmar junta military vessels with naval mines. Heavy infantry fighting ensued as junta ground forces deployed to secure the riverbanks.
