Tuareg Rebels and JNIM Attack Anefis Camp in Northern Mali
A coalition of Tuareg separatists (FLA) and Al-Qaeda-linked JNIM jihadists launched a coordinated ground assault on the strategic Anefis camp in northern Mali. The camp is held by the Malian military junta and Russian Africa Corps paramilitaries. Heavy ground fighting was reported, with rebels claiming to have shot down a Russian Mi-24P attack helicopter.
