Israeli Forces Launch Airstrikes and Shelling in Southern Lebanon
Despite a recently established US-brokered ceasefire agreement, the Israel Defense Forces targeted a Hezbollah operative cell in al-Aaqaide and launched heavy airstrikes on the Nabatieh heights. Artillery shelling was also directed at the village of Barashit during a mass civilian funeral.
