Airstrikes on Kyauktaw
Myanmar junta aircraft launched devastating airstrikes on residential areas in Kyauktaw, Rakhine State, as part of an intensified aerial campaign against civilian communities. According to Progressive Voice Myanmar, entire communities were uprooted by the attack. Applying standard displacement metrics for a major village airstrike, an estimated 2,500 people were forced to flee into surrounding forests with little more than the clothes on their backs to escape the bombardment.
