European Union Renews Economic Sanctions Against Russia for Additional Year
The Council of the European Union officially renewed its suite of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation for an additional twelve months on June 26, 2026. The measures, now extended until July 31, 2027, target key sectors of the Russian economy including finance, energy, and technology.
