Continued Flight in Ma'rib and Al Hodeidah
Localized conflict and deteriorating security conditions continued to force civilian flight in Yemen throughout mid-June. Between June 14 and June 20, 2026, the IOM's Rapid Displacement Tracking tool recorded 17 households, comprising 102 individuals, who were newly displaced. The majority of these new displacements occurred in the Ma'rib and Al Hodeidah governorates, driven directly by armed conflict and associated economic collapse. Most fleeing families sought temporary shelter in Ma'rib City and the Hays district.
