Occupation Authorities Suspend Fuel Sales in Crimea After GLOC Strikes
The Russian-installed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, issued a decree on June 21, 2026, suspending all fuel sales to private citizens across the peninsula. Effective immediately, fuel is restricted to government and security agencies. This emergency measure follows successful Ukrainian strikes on key Ground Lines of Communication (GLOCs), including the R-280 'Novorossiya' highway and railway bridges near Chonhar, which have crippled the delivery of diesel and gasoline from mainland Russia.
