Forced Evacuation Order Issued for Kramatorsk and Sloviansk Communities
On 9 June 2026, the Ukrainian government initiated a new phase of mandatory forced evacuations for families with children living in the active combat zones of the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk communities in Donetsk Oblast. Due to increasing Russian military pressure and continuous artillery barrages along the frontline, at least 5,000 civilians were newly displaced following the official city evacuation orders distributed by the regional state administration.
