Israeli Airstrike on Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp Displaces Residents
Late on 11 June 2026, Israeli warplanes launched a heavy airstrike targeting a densely populated residential block in Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp in the Central Gaza Strip. The powerful strike completely destroyed the al-Khamisi family home and severely damaged surrounding infrastructure. According to the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, this devastating military action resulted in the immediate displacement of at least 200 residents who were forced to seek alternative emergency shelter.
