Renewed Evacuation Orders Displace Civilians in 37 Localities in Southern Lebanon
Between June 12 and 14, 2026, Israel issued seven renewed displacement orders covering 37 localities across Lebanon's South and Nabatieh governorates. The accompanying airstrikes and urgent evacuation orders triggered massive new waves of displacement, forcing thousands of civilians to immediately flee their homes. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs highlighted that these movements exacerbated an already severe shelter crisis. Based on IDMC city evacuation estimates, approximately 12,000 people were newly displaced by this specific order.
