Displaced Lebanese Families Begin Return Assessments Post-Iran Deal
Following the June 15 announcement of a U.S.-Iran de-escalation agreement, displaced Lebanese families in the Nabatieh Governorate have begun assessing safety conditions for returning to their homes. While collective shelters remain at high occupancy, small groups of civilians have been observed surveying damaged properties in southern border regions. The Lebanese Armed Forces have urged caution due to the presence of unexploded ordnance in former combat zones.
