Sudan Accuses RSF of Operating Mass Detention and Organ Trafficking Rings in Darfur
In a formal letter to the UN Security Council, Sudan's UN Ambassador Al-Harith Idriss Al-Harith accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of running mass detention centers at Daghris Prison in Nyala and Shala Prison in El Fasher. The document alleges that foreign medical personnel are engaged in harvesting organs from detainees. The letter also highlights catastrophic conditions in the facilities, including cholera outbreaks and the deaths of 300 wounded detainees over the last two months.
