Ukrainian Long-Range Drones Strike Petrochemical Plants in Samara and Tatarstan
Ukrainian military forces launched successful long-range drone strikes overnight on June 12, 2026, hitting petrochemical facilities deep inside Russian territory. Targets included the Togliatti Kauchuk plant in Samara Oblast and the Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNK) synthetic rubber plant in Tatarstan, the latter located over 1,200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Large fires and thick black smoke were reported at both sites, part of an intensified 'middle strike campaign' to cripple Russian logistics and fuel production.
