Yemen's Houthi rebels launched at least two ballistic missiles toward central Israel. One missile was intercepted by Israeli defense systems, while the other fell near the Saudi-Yemeni border. Concurrently, the Houthis declared a total ban on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea.
