Iranian Ballistic Missiles Target US-Linked Bases in Kuwait and Bahrain
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched at least ten ballistic missiles targeting military installations in Kuwait and Bahrain. Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted seven missiles, while Bahraini forces shot down three missiles and several drones. The IRGC claimed the strikes were retaliation for prior US drone attacks on Iranian territory. While no casualties were reported, the escalation disrupted maritime traffic in the Persian Gulf and prompted a suspension of diplomatic negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
