DTM Somalia — Emergency Trend Tracking Report (23 - 26 May 2026)
Between May 23 and 26, IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix recorded 3,390 new arrivals across Somalia. Approximately 31% of these new displacements—amounting to roughly 1,050 individuals—were directly driven by armed conflict and insecurity. The bulk of these conflict-induced population movements were tracked moving into urban IDP sites such as those in Banadir, reflecting ongoing instability in rural zones.
