U.S. CENTCOM Forces Strike Iranian Coastal Radar Installations
U.S. Central Command forces shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones aimed at commercial maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation, the U.S. military launched direct airstrikes against Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island. Hours later, Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain. This severe escalation threatens the fragile April 2026 U.S.-Iran ceasefire.
