Fano Militia Clashes with ENDF in Amhara Displace Thousands
Fierce fighting broke out between Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) units and Fano militias in the Gojjam zone of the Amhara region. The use of heavy weaponry in populated rural areas prompted the displacement of around 14,000 civilians who fled to adjacent safer zones to escape the crossfire.
