Armed Clashes in Salin Township
Ongoing armed clashes between the Myanmar Armed Forces and non-state armed groups in Salin Township, Magway Region, displaced approximately 5,000 people from 15 villages by mid-May 2026. The fighting reportedly killed eight civilians and destroyed nearly 300 homes.
