WHO Appeals for Ceasefire Amid DRC Ebola Outbreak
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo and urgently appealed to armed groups for a ceasefire. The ongoing conflict in North Kivu and Ituri is severely hindering efforts to contain a deadly Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak, which has surpassed 120 confirmed cases and 220 deaths.
