Sudanese Army Repels RSF Offensive in Blue Nile Region
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) Fourth Infantry Division successfully repelled a multi-front attack by RSF and SPLM-N fighters at the Amora station in the Qaisan district on May 29, 2026. Military sources reported that the rebel alliance attempted to sever vital supply lines between the 13th Brigade in Kuri and the strategic border town of Qaisan near the Ethiopian frontier. The army captured several combat vehicles and maintained control of the crossing.
