Russian Military Casualties Near 500,000 as War Shifts

The head of the UK's GCHQ intelligence agency announced that nearly 500,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. On May 27–28 alone, the Ukrainian military reported 1,160 Russian personnel losses, alongside the destruction of 42 artillery systems and over 1,500 UAVs, as Ukrainian drone strikes continue to stall Russian front-line advances.
