U.S. and Kuwait Intercept Iranian Drones and Ballistic Missile
Amid the ongoing U.S. maritime blockade and Operation Epic Fury, Iran launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait that was successfully intercepted by Kuwaiti forces on the night of May 27. Shortly after, U.S. forces intercepted five Iranian one-way attack drones near the Strait of Hormuz and prevented a sixth drone launch from an Iranian ground control site in Bandar Abbas.
