SAC airstrikes on Sagaing villages displace thousands
Myanmar military fighter jets launched successive airstrikes on several villages in the Sagaing Region following recent resistance advances, according to The Irrawaddy. The unprovoked aerial bombardment destroyed dozens of civilian homes, local infrastructure, and a clinic. The attack resulted in 12 casualties and forced around 3,500 residents to abandon their villages and seek safety in the surrounding jungle, where they currently face severe shortages of food and medical supplies.
