U.S. Naval Blockade of Iran Redirects 100 Ships

Under a continuing maritime blockade, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported it has successfully reached a milestone of redirecting 100 commercial vessels attempting to enter or exit Iranian ports. The blockade, heavily concentrated in the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Gulf, is enforced by more than 15,000 U.S. troops, multiple aircraft carriers, and 200 aircraft to completely halt Iranian sea trade.
