Sudanese Army Seizes Al-Barka Area, Advancing on Kurmuk
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and allied units carried out a decisive ground offensive, seizing the Al-Barka area in the Blue Nile region. Troops routed the RSF-SPLM-N alliance, capturing and destroying numerous military vehicles while inflicting heavy casualties as boots-on-the-ground forces close in on the strategic town of Kurmuk.
