Myanmar Military Airstrike Destroys Civilian Village in Sagaing
The Myanmar military (SAC) conducted a targeted airstrike on the village of Kani in the Sagaing region, claiming to target local anti-junta resistance fighters. The Irrawaddy reported that the bombing completely destroyed the village center and forced approximately 3,100 villagers to flee into the surrounding jungle for safety. The sudden aerial assault left 26 people dead and dozens injured, severely disrupting local agriculture and supply lines.
