Dozens Evacuated from Russian-Occupied Oleshky
Around May 2, approximately 30 residents were successfully evacuated from the Russian-occupied front-line city of Oleshky in Ukraine's Kherson Oblast. The civilians had been trapped amidst severe humanitarian conditions, facing food and water shortages under constant military strikes. The Kyiv Independent reported the rescue, noting that Ukraine's Foreign Ministry had received over 220 direct requests for evacuation from the area.
