Worsening Insecurity Displaces 2,600 in North Kordofan
Between April 29 and 30, worsening security conditions and attacks by armed forces prompted 2,600 civilians to flee the towns of Abu Haraz and Kazgil in Sudan's North Kordofan state. According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the displaced individuals sought shelter in the Sheikan district. The UN agency warned that the situation remains highly volatile amid the ongoing conflict.
