Russia Launches Mass Drone Attack Against Northern and Eastern Ukraine

Russian forces launched a large-scale aerial offensive on the night of May 6-7, deploying 102 attack UAVs including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas models from several directions including Bryansk and occupied Crimea. Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 92 of the 102 drones using a combination of aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, and electronic warfare. Despite the high interception rate, debris caused localized infrastructure damage in eastern districts as Russia violated a brief ceasefire.
