Activist Ends 5-Day Bridge Protest Against AI and U.S.-Iran War in D.C.
Protester Guido Reichstadter was arrested after voluntarily descending from the arches of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington D.C., concluding a five-day encampment protest. He had occupied the bridge since May 1 to demonstrate against artificial intelligence development and the escalating U.S. conflict with Iran.
