Floods Devastate IDP Camps in Dayniile District
Heavy rainfall in the Banadir region caused severe flooding that disproportionately affected low-lying IDP settlements. More than 4,000 individuals—many of whom had previously fled Al-Shabaab conflict zones in Middle Shabelle—were displaced yet again as their essential shelters and infrastructure suffered critical damage.
