US Central Command Intercepts 48th Vessel in Iran Naval Blockade
As part of the ongoing US military naval blockade of Iran's ports (initiated earlier in April 2026 following the collapse of peace talks), US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that a 48th commercial vessel attempting to enter or exit an Iranian port was successfully intercepted and redirected away from the Strait of Hormuz.
