SOUTHCOM Establishes Autonomous Warfare Command in Miami

U.S. Marine Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Commander of Southern Command, directed the establishment of the SOUTHCOM Autonomous Warfare Command (SAWC) on May 1, 2026.
