Aung San Suu Kyi Transferred to House Arrest

Myanmar’s military junta transferred deposed democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi from solitary confinement in a specially built Naypyidaw prison to house arrest at an undisclosed location. The move by coup leader Min Aung Hlaing comes following consecutive international pressures and sweeping losses for the junta military in border regions.
