UN Repatriates First Major Convoy of Congolese Refugees from Burundi
In a rare humanitarian breakthrough following the M23 conflict displacements, the United Nations facilitated the safe return of an initial group of 470 Congolese refugees from Burundi. The refugees traveled by UN-chartered buses across the Kavimvira-Gatumba border.
