Junta forces raid villages in eastern Nattalin, displacing tens of thousands
In mid-April, escalating during the Thingyan holidays, SAC military columns raided at least 15 villages in eastern Nattalin Township. The raids involved daily airstrikes and the torching of civilian homes, killing at least two civilians and forcing an estimated 20,000 residents to flee the area.
