UN and EU Release $71 Billion Post-War Gaza Reconstruction Assessment

The European Union and the United Nations officially released their final Gaza Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA). The assessment estimates that $71 billion will be required over the next ten years to reconstruct the enclave following the devastating war, with $26.3 billion needed in the first 18 months alone to restore essential baseline services. Despite the ceasefire entering its sixth month, over 2 million Gazans remain internally displaced in makeshift shelters without access to adequate medical care or infrastructure.
