North Korea Tests Short-Range Ballistic Missiles with Cluster Warheads

North Korea announced on April 20 that it had test-fired five Hwasongpho-11 Ra short-range tactical ballistic missiles, which it claimed were equipped with cluster bomb and fragmentation mine warheads. The launches were observed by leader Kim Jong Un and struck an island target approximately 136-140 kilometers away.
