Israeli Airstrikes Damage Hospital in Tebnine
On April 14, 2026, the town of Tebnine in southern Lebanon's Bint Jbeil district was subjected to heavy Israeli airstrikes. The bombardment resulted in the deaths of at least five people and caused substantial damage to the Tebnine Government Hospital, a major trauma center. Based on IDMC guidelines for village airstrikes, an estimated 1,500 people were displaced from Tebnine and the targeted surrounding communities.
