Displacement Camp Fire and Clashes in Darfur
In early April, intensifying clashes between the SAF and RSF in Darfur involved increased aerial bombardments and drone strikes on civilian infrastructure. A devastating fire at a Darfur displacement camp, exacerbated by the volatile security environment, destroyed shelters and left 350 families homeless. According to Anadolu Agency, this incident caused the secondary displacement of approximately 1,750 individuals who were forced to seek alternative makeshift shelters.
