ADF Raid Triggers Mass Flight to Kisangani
A major armed raid by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) in the eastern DRC triggered a widespread civilian panic. The terrorists claimed to have killed twenty people and abducted over 100 hostages. According to a recent report by Friends of the Congo, the brutal incursion forced more than 7,000 displaced persons to flee their villages and seek refuge in the urban centers of Bafwasende and Kisangani.
