Sudanese Army Drone Strike Kills 56 at Wedding in Kutum, North Darfur
On the evening of April 8, 2026, a drone strike attributed to the Sudanese Armed Forces targeted a wedding ceremony in the Al-Salama neighborhood of Kutum. The attack killed at least 56 civilians, including 17 children, and injured 107 others. The strike destroyed the host's residence and damaged four adjacent homes.
