RSF and SPLM-N Offensive Triggers Flight of 10,000 to Roseires in Blue Nile
Over 10,000 civilians arrived in Roseires following a buildup of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and SPLM-N coalition troops in the Geissan district. The Sudanese Doctors Network confirmed that the majority of those fleeing are women and children escaping the threat of imminent ground combat along the Ethiopian border. This wave follows the rebel alliance's capture of Kurmuk, which has severely disrupted local trade and food supplies in the southeastern region.
