RSF Shelling of North Al-Fashir Residential Districts
Heavy artillery shelling by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeted northern neighborhoods of Al-Fashir. According to Al Jazeera, the barrage destroyed numerous homes, forcing approximately 12,000 residents to flee toward makeshift camps in the southern outskirts of the city. The humanitarian situation remains critical as access to water and medical supplies is cut off by the ongoing siege. Casualties include 14 civilians killed during the initial assault and subsequent fire.
